I had my first Fraxel treatment 4 weeks ago. Numbing cream was applied an hour before which made the procedure tolerable. I was also offered numbing injections on the face but decided not to have them. After the treatment I looked like I had a sun burn but I could put make up on right away. The treatment caused my skin to feel dry and felt like sandpaper but that is part of the healing process. All that dry skin sloughed off leaving my skin looking smooth and refreshed. Even the pores looked smaller. I was told I would not see the final result until all my treatments are over and that my skin would look better and better as time passed.
